His early documentaries, including Raiders of a Lost Art (2002) and Who is the Sonic Manipulator? (2005), gained festival recognition and online success. Transitioning into short fiction, Zev wrote and directed multiple award-winning films such as Sarah’s Jihad (2009), Broken Superman (2012), and Walkman (2015), the latter screening at Cannes Short Film Corner. His documentary The Enlightened State of Tara (2016) screened to sold-out audiences at Lido Cinemas and at international festivals, while his feature debut The Last Supper of the Damned earned international nominations and the Orson Wells Award.
