Valentina Casadei

Valentina Casadei was born in Ravenna (Italy), in 1993. She graduated at the DAMS University of Bologna, in Cinema History. Later she's moved to Paris where she completed a Master in Screenwriting and Directing at EICAR.

In 2016 and 2017, she directed two short films, "All About Emily" and "Blessed Days", which have been selected in many international film festivals and distributed by ARTEX FILM. "End of September", her first professional short film, is produced by FIRST CHILD PRODUCTIONS with the support of the Emilia Romagna Film Commission.

She is currently developing three short films, her first feature film and her second novel.

She's collaborated with many international film festivals in the organization (Future Film Festival, Locarno Film Festival, Silhouette Festival). She's currently a programmer for SEDICICORTO (Forlì), TRÈS COURT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (Paris), FIGARI FILM FESTIVAL (Olbia), SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (San Diego), OSLO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (Oslo) and a judge for FIRENZE FILMCORTI FESTIVAL (Florence).
