Prageeth Maniyangama is a Journalist and Executive Creative Director in Sri Lanka who started his remarkable journey as a journalist and later on, he found himself in advertising. Since then he has been active as an ad film director, journalist, and lecturer for the past decade. He holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and he has started his steps towards PhD in Film Studies. As an ad film director, he has won more than 30 awards at both local and international ad festivals. He is currently working on his feature film and his present short film ’Gambling City' is his first venture into the film industry.
