Welcome to your house. Where dreams come true!
Delve into nature and immerse yourself in the magic of the International Film Festival, which is held in the charming town of Castelló d'Empúries and Empuriabrava. Located in a captivating tourist destination that attracts thousands of visitors every year, our city is conveniently connected by high-speed train to major cities such as Paris, Barcelona and Madrid, and is only 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Barcelona.
Why Into the wild?
At our festival, we go beyond hosting a remarkable live event; we also strive to support the best projects with distribution opportunities. In collaboration with eight distributors and sales agents in Los Angeles, our goal is not only to create an unforgettable experience, but also to help independent filmmakers find financing or distribution for their exceptional projects.
We strongly believe that festivals should offer filmmakers something extra and extend a helping hand in every possible way.
Drawing on our extensive experience in organizing large-scale events for tourists and in collaboration with one of the best film clubs in the area, we are putting together a magnificent multi-day event that caters for everyone's taste. Get ready to enjoy the best films of the festival while savoring the delicious local gastronomy. In our town we have a Michelin star restaurant and a plethora of gastronomic options to satisfy all palates. And don't miss our awards party, where exquisite cocktails and the most captivating soundtracks ever will take your experience to new heights.
How does it work?
As you can see, we have numerous individual categories. Recognizing that most projects are self-funded, we prefer individual categories to allow each filmmaker to tailor their budget to their specific needs.
How does the distribution work?
As you know, securing distribution in today's competitive landscape, with the rise of pay TV and your own productions, can be quite a challenge. To maximize your options, we collaborate with eight distributors serving major film markets, including Cannes Film Market, Berlinale, Ventana Sur and more.
We maintain constant communication with these distributors, making sure we know their current preferences and allowing us to quickly ship the most compelling titles featured at the festival.
Do we only send to winners?
Absolutely not. We submit all projects that we believe have potential. The market is dynamic and waiting until the end of the festival can cause missed opportunities. That is why we work diligently throughout the year. Transparency is our guiding principle and while we cannot guarantee the distribution of your project, we can promise that we will actively explore new avenues and options every month.
