WELCOME TO PANJIM INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
At Panjim International Film Festival - Goa, is an international film festival rooted in the artistic spirit and cultural atmosphere of Goa - a place long associated with creativity, reflection, music, storytelling, and freedom of expression.
Panjim International Film Festival was created to champion new and emerging cinematic voices from around the world. We are especially drawn toward filmmakers who approach cinema with sincerity, curiosity, emotional honesty, and a strong personal vision - regardless of budget, scale, or experience.
The festival welcomes films that feel intimate, daring, visually immersive, and deeply human. Rather than following formulas, we seek works that linger - films shaped by atmosphere, vulnerability, experimentation, human complexity, and emotional depth.
Set against the cultural backdrop of Panjim, Goa, PIFF aims to create a space where new filmmakers can present meaningful work within an environment that values discovery, artistic exchange, thoughtful curation, and genuine appreciation for independent cinema.
We believe some of the most powerful films emerge at the beginning of a filmmaker’s journey - when stories are told with instinct, freedom, and a deeply personal creative voice. PIFFG exists to encourage and celebrate those voices.
At PIFF Goa, cinema is not approached as content alone, but as an experience capable of creating reflection, connection, and lasting emotional resonance.
Panjim International Film Festival exists for films that stay with people - works that continue to echo quietly long after the final frame.
Every officially selected project at Panjim International Film Festival - Goa receives the official PIFFG laurel and selection certificate.
PIFFG recognizes films and filmmakers whose work demonstrates originality, emotional depth, artistic vision, and a strong cinematic voice.
Alongside the Best Category Awards, selected projects may also receive Outstanding Achievement Awards in recognition of exceptional creative contribution, storytelling, craft, or artistic expression.
Our focus remains on celebrating meaningful independent cinema and encouraging emerging filmmakers from around the world.
