About :

Films of Ang Lee, David Cronenberg, Pedro Almodóvar, and Errol Morris have debuted here.

The festival invites to be a part of a its long history of discovery and welcomed new, fresh and brilliant film. At the same time it shows a handful of films and is very selective. The real prize in Telluride is to be accepted from hundreds of entries as one of approximately 25 shorts and 24 features that will be showcased at the festival.

The festival revels in discovering new talent. It doesn’t discriminate: shorts, features, documentaries, animation, film, and video — all are welcome submissions. The only prerequisite is that feature films have not been shown around the North American block before.
