His journey into feature filmmaking began with an accidental discovery of Munshi Premchand's short story "Idgah," which inspired his first feature film, "5 Rupya."
"5 Rupya" has captured global audiences, earning 16 international awards, 30 official selections, and has been the Opening Film at 8 festivals. The film was created with some of India's finest talents. Piyush is now preparing to release "5 Rupya" on an OTT platform.
