French director, he attended the Louis Lumière school then dedicated himself to image as a camera assistant for directors of photography such as the French Pierre Lhomme, the Argentinian Ricardo Aronovich, the Brazilian Lauro Escorel, and with directors from very different universes: Robert Bresson, Marguerite Duras, Patrice Chéreau, Carlos Diegues, François Leterrier. For ARTE, he produced and directed the series "Les leçons particulières de musique" with Oliver Bernager. He directed the trilogy "Il était une fois 19 acteurs" (Once upon a time there were 19 actors), three documentaries on the work of actors around Patrice Chéreau and Jacques Doillon at the Nanterre Amandiers school. With ARTE and Canal+, he produced and directed more than twenty documentaries, selected and awarded at festivals. In 2010, he discovered Portugal and directed the documentary "Portugal, l'Europe de l'incertitude" (Portugal, Europe of uncertainty) broadcast on Portuguese television and selected at the Pessac International Historical Film Festival. He then began writing his feature film. Filmed in 2020 and 2021 in Portugal, Cape Verde, and Belgium, ENCONTRO was released in Portuguese cinemas in 2024.
