A rift develops in the friendship between Madhabi and Nandini when Madhabi discovers that Nandini harbors romantic desires for her. As Madhabi is not a lesbian, she cannot come to terms with this revelation, leading her to distance herself from Nandini. Madhabi reconnects with Nandini after a long time, following the disappearance of her boyfriend, Arpan—who had traveled to war-torn Iran on assignment for a foreign journal—after there had been no news of him for seven days. Amidst this situation, driven by worry and a sense of isolation, Madhabi goes to meet Nandini—the person who comes to mind first during such times. She realises and acknowledges that she had not treated Nandini well in the past. One late afternoon, they spend a long time in each other's company. Nandini opens up to Madhabi about her daily struggles in the film industry and the exploitation she faces to earn a living. Madhabi wants to support Nandini. Set against a combative and competitive world, this film is a story of love, friendship, and mutual reliance.

Director's Statement
Film is a cerebral art form not a grocery food item. It can't be manufactured and there is noting called composite art form because you need composition for craft work not for an art. Film is an abustle art form where an Independent mind makes some technical minds travelled philosophically though the history of time. You can call that independent mind "A Director".
