Dashboard cameras record private conversations inside cars, moments before a certain event.Exchanges never meant to be seen from the outside quietly come into view.Shaped by anxiety, pride, politeness, and affection, ordinary remarks begin to reveal the human side of the people inside.Sharing the same moment in time, these conversations unfold side by side, never intersecting, yet allowing a faint sense of danger to seep beneath their humor.A black comedy with dry humor and quiet cynicism, rooted in human frailty.

Director's Biography
Kuruma is a filmmaker and Japan’s leading comedian, winning back-to-back national titles in 2023 and 2024. In his directorial debut, BREAK SHOT, he employs structural satire to explore the "space between" opposing positions, gesturing toward a neutral zero point where human conflict is held in suspension.
Director's Statement
Modernity has narrowed our paths, forcing us into "transparent" safety. BREAK SHOT is a cradle for the wavering soul. I do not seek to resolve conflict; I seek to inhabit the unstable center. I will be the first to sway. If extreme arguments are dangerous, being colorless is equally tragic. Let us sway together in the cradle of the ordinary.
