Shailesh Acharekar, born in 1977 in Kolhapur, India, is a renowned artist known for his innovative 3D paintings and mixed-media artworks. A graduate of Sir J.J. School of Applied Arts, he initially worked as an art director before fully dedicating himself to painting. His unique series, including Touchwood and Innovator, showcase his creative approach using diverse materials. He has also ventured into filmmaking, with his short film WAQT winning over 91 awards. Recognized with accolades like the National Youth Icon Award, Acharekar continues to push artistic boundaries, blending traditional techniques with contemporary expressions.
