In Late Antiquity, there are no instruments with labelled scales for measuring heat. The apparently occult statement involves technical knowledge. Between myth and method, tradition takes the form of a device.

This film examines the legend according to which the breath of three maidens brings the dead back to life. In my view, this proverb describes a technical device in mythological language.
