This story and film is very near to my heart for two reasons. First off, it represents my first project for the screen as co-writer, producer and director. Secondly, the themes explored in the film which are adultery and domestic violence are extremely sensitive topics in today's society.

The aim of the film is to pass on the message that communication is key to a happy relationship. Unfortunately today, young couples sometimes rush into a relationship and marriage and with today's fast-paced lifestyle take their significant other for granted, convincing themselves that everything is smooth-sailing when in reality there are cracks beneath the surface.

The film dramatises these two themes however it is a realistic depiction of what could happen when blind love and unmet needs clash to create a volatile situation. I hope audiences understand the deep impact that certain decisions have on those around us especially within seemingly loving relationships and that the film's storyline acts as a wake up call for couples of all ages to improve their communication style and efforts.

Aleandro was born in November of 1995 in Malta, where he currently lives with his family. He started his artistic journey in 2022, taking acting classes at a local drama school. Writing was always in his blood. He always had a flair for creative storytelling and in the summer of 2024 found his muse by writing no less than four pieces of drama; three short films and a stage comedy in Maltese.

Aleandro is a trained actor, having experience both on stage and on camera with the majority of his roles being as a main or secondary. He is currently undergoing a Director's course under the mentorship of celebrated Maltese director Bryan Muscat.
