Charo began her/his career in 2009, studying acting and specializing first in theater and then in film, which is what he was really passionate about.
In 2015 she/he began as a screenwriter, director and producer, creating Two Words, a "very emotional short film that goes directly to the heart." Two words emphasizes the time that a child can spend alone, as a result of their parents' work.
In 2016 he/she began developing a feature-length script titled Without the need for more and in 2017 she/he began producing, directing and starring in it. A project in which actors of the stature of Jesús Olmedo, Nerea Garmendia and Elías Pelayo joined... and for which he/she decided to set up his own production company, Anaya Films Producciones. Currently, Without the need for more is still in national and international distribution. The film delves into the fears we deal with in our daily lives. "It is a film with a special sensitivity and a wonderful touch in the eyes of the viewer," says its director.
In 2018 he recorded the short film Te Quiero, Madre, starring María Galiana and Adriana Ozores.
