A significant short film produced by the renowned family of the legendary actor Shri Joy Mukerji is making waves in the social media and has become the talk of the town.
The film makers Sujoy and Supriya Mukerji , under the guidance of Mrs Neelam Mukerji have tried to capture the sentimental portrayal of the mammoth impact Covid 19 can have on the bonds of love in an Indian family .
The theme of the film being the spread of Corona disease like wild fire and the fight against the pandemic by the Covid Warriors.
In the film the makers have depicted the close link between the sister-Devika and her brother -Anmol and their traumatic experience when it is discovered that Anmol has tested Corona positive after having attended a party .
The binding between the two siblings and their parents, when threatened , ignites a plea for mercy to the Almighty . Anmol has to be admitted to the hospital and immediately gets the medical treatment required to ward off the threat of the germ striking at the vital organs of the body.
In the end , due to the relentless hard work of the doctors and the nurses and other staff Anmol gets well and comes back home much to the relief of his sister and his parents.
But the real dispensers of well being remain the Covid Warriors- those selfless souls who care and serve the infected needy -without concern for their own safety.
