Devdas Nayak, the Director of the Konkani movie "Tarpana”, is a B.E. graduate.
Despite his technical background, his ardent passion for art and cinema led him to take on various roles in the film industry.
Devdas is also the writer, editor and lyricist of "Tarpana" and his creative influence permeates every aspect of the movie.

His Production House Malshi Pictures undertook the production of Tarpana, showcasing his commitment to promoting regional cinema.
Prior to his directorial debut, Devdas honed his skills in the industry by working on numerous short films and a Kannada movie.
In these projects, he demonstrated his versatility by acting, writing screenplay and dialogues, and serving as an associate director.

Despite his demanding job in the corporate world, he continues to pursue his passion for film making. Currently, he is immersed in directing his next venture, a Kannada movie, showcasing his ambition to contribute to different regional film industries while preserving and celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of Konkani cinema.
