Director's Statement
The Winter is a visual experiment on time, media, and the essence of existence. Life, as the embodiment of flowing time, takes on various forms. The camera, as a medium for capturing time, always serves as a bridge between people and life. This film explores two key ideas. First, it examines how different media shape the dynamic relationship between the filmmaker behind the camera and the subject in front of it. Second, it seeks to awaken an inner search for the beautiful and praiseworthy moments in life. Life can be repetitive, chaotic, and fleeting, yet it can also be radiant, dreamy, and eternal.
