(SYNOPSIS)
Writer Sarathchandra Menon's stories were published under the name of his wife Shalini. Gradually Shalini Menon became known as a famous writer. They are also seeking numerous awards. Sarathchandra Menon is celebrating his life with his friends without wanting any fame by hiding the secret that he is behind Shalini's writings. Meanwhile, Sarathchandra Menon and Shalini part ways with each other.
Sarathchandra Menon leaves home and stays at a resort. He finds happiness with a few young people there. Attempts were also made to publish literary works under his own name. But since he is not famous as a writer, no one wants to publish his stories.
There is a constant need for publishers for Shalini's stories. But Shalini, who has no ability to write on her own, is moving away from everyone. Frustrated at not being able to publish stories in his own name, Sarathchandra Menon finally sends his new story to be published under his wife's name. Journalists who got the story came to see them thinking that it was a story written by Shalini herself.
At the urging of her friend Hema, Shalini tries to find Sarathchandra Menon. Shalini seeks the help of Prabhakaran, the editor who sent the story to Sarathchandra Menon on behalf of his wife. Shalini reveals to Prabhakaran the secret behind her writings. But Prabhakaran keeps the matter a secret and tries to find Menon. . It is learned that Sarath Chandra Menon's residence was finally found but he left the place and ended his life.
Sarath Chandra Menon's novel, which was last written under Shalini's name and handed over to the youth of the resort, later became very popular. Shalini arrives in Dubai to receive the World Writers' Foundation Award for the novel, and announces on stage that her husband was behind her writing. Readers know Sarath Chandra Menon only when Shalini says that she did not deserve the award.
