He is a media person mainly involved in the production of TV shows for regional
television in India. He has produced around 5000 episodes of different television
shows so far. He has also served as a programming head for the popular television
channel in Marathi language, ETV Marathi.
He started his career as an assistant director with a popular TV show on
Doordarshan, Surabhi. After that he worked as an assistant director on many
television shows when an opportunity came to work as an assistant director with
an acclaimed director Sanjay LeelaBhansali for the feature film “Devdas”.
“Devdas” not only gave him the all-round experience of film making but also
opened the doors of various TV channels. After serving as a programming head of
ETV Marathi he started his own production company “Devaswwa Productions” in
2008 and since then producing various shows for television channels.
His creative instincts also made him dive deep into the fundamental questions
about life, which lead to lot of reading, travelling and pursue understanding the
very nature of life.
