Souvik began his stage life from his early childhood days. He has acted in plays though out his schooldays. He debuted in his first play in the US in 2017. Ever since, Souvik has acted in numerous plays in the Bengali and Hindi language. In 2019, Souvik directed his first play in Chicago – Number 13, a current times Bengali adaptation of Twelve Angry Men. The production had a massive cast of 13 members and got rave reviews. In 2020, Souvik along with a group of friends joined to together to form a fun web series called Poroninda Mohabidya under a banner called Sangsar Sangsar. Sangsar Sangsar started a whole new journey. Protibimbo, a Sangsar Sangsar production, featuring Souvik in the lead role was showcased in three different festivals. In 2020 Souvik directed three short plays/productions – Atithi, Prapti and Rabon Mondodori Sombad.
