accordi @ DISACCORDI – International Short Film Festival celebrates its 23rd edition from 9 to 15 November 2026, welcoming filmmakers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts from around the world. The festival offers a unique platform to share the art of independent short filmmaking with local audiences, fostering dialogue between creators and viewers while promoting cultural exchange, professional networking, and the development of the audiovisual industry in Naples and the Campania region.
The festival is dedicated to fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, and research short films. Its mission is to discover, promote, and support emerging directors and independent filmmakers whose works explore new visual languages and innovative forms of expression through experimentation, aesthetic research, originality, creative independence, and artistic innovation. As such, accordi @ DISACCORDI aims to serve as a privileged observatory of the evolving landscape of contemporary short cinema, highlighting emerging trends, perspectives, and creative practices.
The festival's diverse programme combines film screenings with in-depth conversations involving directors, producers, actors, and other members of the creative teams, creating an informal environment where audiences, industry professionals, cultural operators, and film lovers can engage directly with the filmmakers.
Over the years, the festival has expanded into a multidisciplinary cultural event featuring workshops, seminars, conferences, educational activities in collaboration with universities and schools, exhibitions, masterclasses, and special events. It also presents thematic focuses dedicated to the recent film production of specific countries or geographical areas, as well as to issues of significant social and cultural relevance. Admission to all cultural activities is free of charge, reinforcing the festival's commitment to accessibility and audience development.
Particular attention is devoted to the competitive section dedicated to environmental issues, showcasing works that address sustainability, environmental protection, ecological responsibility, and climate change, while encouraging reflection on the urgent challenges facing contemporary society.
