The Dehradun International Film Festival (DIFF) is an international film festival that is held annually in Dehradun India. Inaugurated in 2015, it is the first international film festival to be held in Dehradun The mission behind Dehradun International Film Festival is to bring the aspiring talents of Uttrakhand and the renowned names of film industry on one common platform, so that their interactions will open door of opportunities for film industries as well as boost the cinematic culture of the state.

Eligibility:-
Films screened at our previous festivals are not eligible for submission:-
Your film must have been completed between 2023 and 2025.
Submission Process:-
Incomplete submissions may be disqualified.
Submission Deadline:-
No entries will be accepted after the last date of submission.
Film Categories:-
• Ensure that your film falls within the specified time limits for its category:
• Short Film: Up to 45 minutes.
• Feature Film: 90 minutes or more.
• Documentary:
• Animation:
• Music Video:

Language & Subtitles:
• Films in languages other than Hindi or English must have English subtitles.

Film Format:
• Submit your film in high-quality formats such as MP4, MOV, or DCP.
• Ensure the resolution is at least 1080p for optimal screening quality.

Screening Rights:
• By submitting, you grant the festival the right to screen your film during the event and for promotional purposes.

Original Content:
• Films must be original works and should not infringe upon any copyright or third-party rights.

Selection Process:
• The festival committee’s decision regarding film selection is final and cannot be contested.

Withdrawal Policy:
• Once selected, films cannot be withdrawn from the festival.

Festival Attendance:
• Selected filmmakers are encouraged to attend the festival and participate in Q&A sessions or other interactive segments
