is an international competition part of film fest international 17 years serving filmmaker, celebrating the best and major independent films and filmmakers from around the globe. Our mission at London International is after 17 years supporting filmmakers is to discover and support high quality and ambitious films or projects. We are always looking to promote filmmakers’ projects with the right audience, distributors, funding, media press, platforms and more in order to place your film in front of potential investors, sales and opportunities to put your project in a market place.
We want to promote and support new independent filmmakers providing them the best opportunities to me
We are aiming to watch and review your projects and help you promote and find a space for your creativity within the film industry.et people, make contacts as well as being recognized with awards for their talent. We strive on and are keen to showcase your film to new audiences.




Awards & Prizes

Our Jury will award the best films through private screenings. Every submitter can enter multiple categories to increase their probability to win an award. Every Official Selection, Semi-Finalist, Finalist and Winner will receive our Official Laurels. Award Winners will also receive our Official Certificate in High-Quality digital format, will be listed on our website, may order their Trophy, will be shared on our social media and by our network of International Media Partners + media press participating during the coverage and may upload their credits on IMDb.

-If selected, Filmmakers will be asked for further materials.
-All international films MUST have English subtitles if in another language.
-If NOT selected, your project will be submitted into the international filmmaker database for any upcoming screening we may have in the future.
-Official Selections will be announced on the website, social media and partners.
- If your creation has the potential for a collaboration opportunity such as; distribution, (co)production, or any commercial usage, Around Films keeps the right to make previews with 3rd parties. Still, the final action will be taken with the owner of the material here (submitter). And our team will contact you for confirmation through the possibilities. Previous yearly selections and the winner creations will be accessible with password protection in the safest way.

* BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR FILM PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS * ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE *

We are mainly looking for: Feature Film, Short Films, Documentaries, TV/Web-Series, Series Pilots, Student Films, Animations, Trailers, Music Videos, Produced and Unproduced Scripts, Commercials, Experimental Films, Professional Mobile Films and Disruptive formats as Portrait Orientation.
We accept films of any genres, length and language.
Any genre and any length of film will be considered – anything under 45 minutes is classified as a short, anything over 45 minutes is classified as a feature. Maximum film length for the Screendance and Queer Short Film Competitions is 20 minutes

WE DO NOT ACCEPT: 1. Amateur videos. 2. Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations. 3. Pornography. 4. Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles/captions for non-English films, video resolution less than 1080p HD). 5. We don't accept excerpts/scenes from films: you must submit the entire film.

By submitting your film, take note that: The Barcelona International Film Festival is hereby granted the rights to utilize an excerpt (trailer/teaser/poster/stills) from any film submitted for promotional purposes. Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may be submitted to multiple categories. Winning categories vary depending on the submissions we receive. If the administration thinks the categories submitted are not to a standard of the Barcelona International Film Festival win, they will be removed. The Competition reserves the right to refuse entries and the Jury can remove a movie from the competition at any time. Entry fees are non-refundable.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for possible screening (private and/or public) and understands and accepts these requirements, rules and regulations. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Barcelona International Film Festival, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss or damage of the screening videos entered.
