The Sci-Fi, Terror and Fantasy Film Festival 2021 is an event of showing and spreading the culture of this genres in Bogotá, with some spaces of showing between 12 and 17 of April of 2021.

PRIZES: There will be the next prizes:

- Best Feature Film FANTASY
- Best Feature Film TERROR
- Best Short Film SCI-FI
- Best Short Film FANTASY
- Best Short Film TERROR
- Best Film EXPERIMENTAL
- Best Film Videoclip

This prizes gonna have a trophy to be delivered in the Award Ceremony to the presents filmmakers, if the filmmaker isn’t present in the ceremony must pay the shipping costs.
At the same time the Jury will choose the best films for the next specials mentions divided in two groups: Short Films (Films less of 35 minutes long) and Feature Film (Film over 70 minutes long):

- Best Script
- Best Performance
- Best Sound Design
- Best Direction of Photography
- Best Production Design
- Best Original Music
- Best Edition

The winners of this gonna receive a certificate.

1. DATE AND PLACE OF CONTEST: From 12 to 17 of April of 2021, in the city of Bogotá, Colombia.

2. DATE OF RECEPTION: From 15 of June of 2020 until 20 of December of 2020, it will be split in Four Deadlines; Early Deadline (from 15 of June of 2020 until 5 of July of 2020), Regular Deadline (from 10 July of 2019 until 13 of October of 2019), Late Deadline(from 1 of November of 2020 until 30 of November of 2020) ad Extended Deadline(from 1 of December of 2020 until 20 of December of 2020).

2,1. DATE OF RECEPTION:(October of 2020) The dates of the Main call will be amplied: From 15 of June of 2020 to 20 of January of 2021, It will be split in four deadlines: Early Deadline (from 15 of June of 2020 until 5 of July of 2020), Regular Deadline (from 10 July of 2020 until 30 of November of 2020), Late Deadline(from 1 of December of 2020 until 31 of December of 2020) ad Extended Deadline(from 1 of January of 2021 until 20 of January of 2021).

3. DATE OF NOTIFICATION OF OFFICIAL SELECTION AND LAUNCH OF THE FILM FESTIVAL: The notification of the selected films of the film festival will be the 12 of February of 2021 by an E-Mail. The launch of the Festival and the socialization of the Official Selection to the press and different media will be the 12 of March of 2021 wit the announce of the allies, sponsors, screening site, partners, the official image, trailer and jury.

4. CATEGORIES AND COSTS OF CONTEST: The Film FESTIVAL will split in the next categories:
- Sci-Fi: Films of Sci-Fi Genre; Including sub-genres like Dystopian, Post-Apocalyptic, Space Operas, Steampunk, cyberpunk, among the others
- Terror: Films of Horror, Thriller or Suspense, and films of Sci-fi and Fantasy where the horror it’s at the services of this genres; Including subgenera like Dark Fantasies, Monsters, Vampires and Werewolf, Unnatural, o surveillance, Zombies, Film Noir, Action Thriller, Conspiracy Thriller, Politician Thriller, Spy’s, among the others.
- Fantasy: Films of Fantasy and Western genre; Including sub-genres like Fairy Tales, Epics, Modern Fantasy, Magical Realism, Urban Fantasy, Science Fantasy, Steampunk, Spaghetti Western, Modern Western, among the others
- Experimental: Films of Sci-Fi, Horror and Fantasy who use experimental elements in the work.
- Videoclip: Music videos created for bands, orchestras or soloists that have Sci-Fi, Horror and Fantasy themes as the central axis of the video narration.
- National: Films and Music videos of Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy and Experimental that have been filmed in Colombia.

If the curator’s team or the jury consider then a film presented fits more in a different category from the one presented, they can move it without notice and claims from participants will not be accepted.

6. PARTICIPATING WORKS: Films from around the world can participate. If the film is in English or a different language it be required subtitles in Spanish. Priority will be given to National, Continental and Worldwide releases at the moment of make the official selection, however, it isn’t a requirement not to have been released in Colombia.

7. DURATION:

- Short Films: Works from 1 minutes until 35 minutes length (Including credits)
- Feature Films: Works over 70 minutes without a time limit

8. INSCRIPTION: The postulants must enter in FilmFreeway, ClickForFestivals and Fulgido, and fill in the inscription correspondent.

8.1 INSCRIPTION(October of 2020): Since 15 of October the platforms Sfilmmaker and WFCN will be accepted too.

9. SENDING OF WORKS; For the sending of works, you must upload the digital copy of the film in high definition (.MOV, .MP4, Compressor H.264 or ProRes 422) a virtual cloud (Dropbox, PCloud, Google Drive, etc..) and send for email the link of download. At the same time you must append the document where you give the permission of exhibition of your work

10. RECOGNITION: There will be a delivery of officials recognitions (certificates of Official Selection) to the selected works in every category after be announced, the laurels will be send for the press kits and posters, likewise after of finished the film FESTIVAL, a certified gonna be send for your participation in the FESTIVAL.

11. REQUIREMENTS: Apart from the High Definition video, its required a basic press kit(Poster, 5 frames of the film, banner, photograph of the director, trailer). In case of be selected, the postulant must put the laurel of the FESTIVAL in the poster and banner.

12. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION. For the fact of make the inscription, the filmmakers of the movies chosen to be official selection accept than their films will be exhibited in the different activities framed in the development of the FESTIVAL in the 2019 edition. As well as using extracts of images from the films for promotional purposes of the FESTIVAL through the media. The sent material don’t be returned and going to pass to be part of the FESTIVAL LIBRARY. The FESTIVAL doesn’t be responsible of infractions related to copyright, being this responsibility of who send the work.

13.THE JURY: The Jury will be compose for specialized filmmakers, The jury will be announced the 12 of March of 2021 with the announcement of the Official Selection of the festival. The Jury will choose the winners of every every major category, as well as the winner of the technical categories. The choice of the jury will be unappealable.
