Mexico Film & Creativity Festival is an international monthly film & screenplay competition. The best movies will be chosen by our jury each month, and the monthly best winner across all categories will be included on a special award qualifying list. In addition, the winner will be eligible for the yearly competition and receive a nomination for Best of Fest (Film of the Year). Our goal is to recognize, honour, and present the top talent in the world
of independent film. Our goal is to advance the careers of filmmakers by promoting their work.

A high-quality digital certificate and an official laurel (a PDF or JPG file that may be printed) will be awarded to each winner. Incredible honours to ensure your project receives the recognition it merits.

Rules & Terms

Before submitting your film, please take the time to carefully read our Rules & Terms. By submitting your film to be considered for the Mexico Film & Creativity Festival, you expressly acknowledge and accept that these Rules & Terms will apply to you. Films with any theme, regardless of origin or genre, may be submitted to the Mexico Film & Creativity Festival. There's no guarantee your film will be chosen if you enter the Mexico Film & Creativity Festival. A coveted "Mexico Film & Creativity Festival" Certificate of Recognition will be awarded to each winning image. We regret to inform you that we are not able to waive application fees at no cost. We are all treated with the same respect as filmmakers.

1- In order to submit a film, you must own the rights or have permission from the owner.
2- The Festival relationship will exclusively be related to the film submitter.
3- Any Foreign film that is not in English must have English subtitles.
4- All fees are non-refundable.
5- MFCF will not be responsible for damaged copies.
6- A DCP/MOV/MP4 copy of the film is required for the annual gala screening.
7- Not all the submissions are selected for the official competition. Our Judges are free to make their own choices and no answers will be given about not selected films.
8- MFCF can consider any film to be disqualified if the festival considers the content inappropriate.
9- Filmmakers can submit the film in multiple categories in order to become a multi-award film. Our Team may suggest the categories that are more suitable for the film to apply. Still, the decision about the selection is strictly determined by our judges' team and no selection is guaranteed.
10- A fee is required for the main category submission and also fees for additional categories.
11- The applicants (submitters) must accept MFCF Rules and Terms.
