«Sochi Film Festival» is an annual cultural event aimed at strengthening and improving communication between representatives of different cultures through the art of cinema and moving images.
Over the history of the festival, more than 700 works from almost all over the world have participated.
We enhance the cultural heritage of Sochi and its visitors by showcasing films from around the world. We also aim to foster a deeper understanding of different cultures from around the world, thus contributing to Sochi's identity and orientation as an international city.

Each participant who has passed the competition programme receives a diploma and laurels of the official selection.

This agreement is between «Sochi Film Festival» (SFF) and the film producers. The agreement comes into force from the moment it is published on our partners' websites. SFF does not set restrictions on genres and styles of films. Films must not exceed 150 minutes in length and the production date of the film must not be more than two years old at the time of the festival. Films do not have to be premieres, but all films selected for the festival must comply with the laws of the Russian Federation and moral and ethical standards.
All materials will be available online only through the websites of our partners or on the festival website. The selection of films will be made by the festival jury, films submitted by authors through our partners will be reviewed by the jury. Entry fees are non-refundable and do not guarantee screening at the festival.
Any materials submitted to SFF are non-refundable. SFF has the right to use all promotional materials and film trailers for posting on its website, media and social media. For materials in languages other than English or Russian, Russian or English subtitles must be provided. Officially selected films are encouraged to provide Russian subtitles.
A link to download the full version of the film must be available prior to the festival.
SFF will assist with subtitling and all necessary checks to obtain all documents specified in government regulations, which may be specified individually.
SFF may change dates, times, venues and other event information without prior notice. SFF is under no obligation to notify filmmakers of such changes. By registering on the site, you agree to receive emails with news, offers and other materials from us. New terms and conditions are effective upon publication on the festival website and partner websites. Sending the registration form is considered an electronic signature on your part, thus you agree to all the above terms and conditions. The Festival is organised by «Festival Plus», an autonomous non-profit organisation for the development of art.
