With nearly a decades worth of experience reviewing Indie films (short films, feature films, documentaries, along with Academy-Award nominated and Academy-Award winning short films), the Take 2 Indie Review quarterly online Film Festival event seeks to gather the most unique, bold and meaningful visual storytellers from around the world.

The Take 2 Indie Review Film Festival will award each Director of a winning film with a one-on-one Interview as well as a review of their film.

We will also be awarding a one-on-one Interview for each of the rest of the winning categories as well as a review of their film.

Interviews and reviews are published on our website www.take2indiereview.net as well as our social media pages.

We will announce the Official Selections on our social media pages.

We will have public screenings of the Official Selections on our YouTube page (with the permission of the filmmaker). The dates will be announced. After the Official Selections screenings, we will announce the winners on our social media pages.

Each winner will also receive a beautifully designed Take 2 Indie Review Film Festival laurel.

RULES & GUIDELINES FOR 2026 SUBMISSIONS:

The following is an explanation of the Rules & Guidelines governing film submissions to the 2026 Take 2 Indie Review Film Festival.

Compliance with these Rules & Guidelines is necessary in order to participate in our Film Festival.

Submission of a film implies unconditional acceptance of the Rules & Guidelines, therefore, please read carefully through the Rules prior to submitting your film.

The Take 2 Indie Review Film Festival accepts submissions for films in the following categories:

Micro Short Films (5 minutes and under)
Narrative, Animated, Documentary, Experimental, and International.

Shorts Films (40 minutes and under):
Narrative, Animated, Documentary, Experimental, and International.

Features Films (41 minutes - 120 minutes):
Narrative, Animated, Documentary, Experimental, and International.

1. The Entrant/s submitting the film must hold all legal rights for the submission, as well as all necessary clearances for public exhibition.

2. The Filmmaker/s retain/s all submission and intellectual property rights.

3. Films must be submitted electronically via WFCN.

4. The Filmmaker/s is/are responsible for making sure all submission materials are submitted by the submission deadline indicated. If your film is not uploaded by the deadline for which you have registered, you may be required to pay the higher submission fee.

5. Each submission must be accompanied by the appropriate fee. Submission fees are in are in U.S. Dollars per submission and is non-refundable. Cash is not accepted.

6. If a film received 50% or more of its funding from sources outside of the United States, the film may be submitted as an International Film.

7. Subtitles must be in English.

8. Please keep screener links and passwords up-to-date. Please test your media prior to submission to make sure they run properly and are not damaged.

9. Filmmakers are allowed to submit more than one film for the Festival provided that each film is submitted separately and meets the Take 2 Indie Review Film Festival guidelines.

10. Filmmakers are allowed to re-submit a film that was previously submitted, provided significant changes were made and all eligibility requirements are met. When re-submitting the film, include a brief letter detailing the changes made.

11. Filmmakers submitting through WFCN can check their status through the website.

12. All personal contact information is to remain confidential and not to be shared with any third parties.

13. The Take 2 Indie Review Film Festival reserves the right to use images from films selected in the Festival for marketing purposes.

14. All decisions regarding award winners are considered final and incontestable.

15. All films submitted must have been completed between September 2024 and October 2026.
