The Universal Film Makers Council (UFMC) and Genesis Ultima Dubai UAE are delighted to announce the 23rd UFMC GOA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL-2026, a grand celebration of global cinema. The festival is scheduled for the 11th and 12th of April 2026, in the magnificent and cosmopolitan city of Goa, India.

The 23rd UFMC GOA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL-2026 promises to be a landmark event in the world of cinema, attracting filmmakers, industry professionals, and movie enthusiasts from across the globe. With a rich blend of creativity, innovation, and cultural diversity, this festival aims to honor the art and craft of filmmaking while fostering connections within the global film community.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF FILMS FOR AWARD
Last Date for Submission: 12th March 2026

The following terms and conditions must be adhered to when submitting films for the 23rd UFMC GOA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL-2026, scheduled for 11th and 12th April 2026 in Goa, India. All applicants must comply with these rules. By submitting a film, the individual or organization warrants that the film is committed for screening in accordance with these terms.

Any film completed after January 1, 2023, regardless of content, subject, or origin, can be submitted along with the prescribed fee.
All entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Multiple entries are permitted. More than one film may be submitted in the same category, but a separate entry fee must be paid for each submission.
Submission does not guarantee selection.
A submission is considered complete only when the download is enabled for the film's preview screener.
Official selections, nominees, and winners will be announced on the official festival website. An official selection does not guarantee public screening but signifies that the film has been appreciated by the jury. Selected films can use the festival logo on promotional material. Private screenings will be held for nominees, and only the "Best" films in each category will receive a laurel and certificate.
Winning films will receive a trophy and certificate, with awards presented at the 23rd UFMC GOA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL-2026 on 12 April 2026.
Films in languages other than English must have English subtitles, failing which they may be disqualified.
A director/producer may submit multiple films in one or multiple categories simultaneously.
The festival reserves the right to use excerpts from any submitted film for promotional purposes in the INDIA.
The festival retains the right to refuse any submission.
The applicant agrees to indemnify the festival from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising from issues involving copyright, trademarks, credits, or publicity.
Winners from outside Goa, India must pay additional charges for delivery of their awards and certificates (courier charges as per international rates).
The decision of the jury regarding shortlisting films and awards will be final.
Submission fees will not be refunded if the filmmaker submits a film in the wrong category.
Films submitted without the prescribed fees or correct submission media may be deemed ineligible at the discretion of the festival's programming or executive directors.
The festival does not cover any expenses incurred by filmmakers.
The festival reserves the right to use trailers, teasers, posters, or other promotional materials for submitted films.
An official trailer, poster, synopsis, and film link must be provided during submission.
It is the applicant's responsibility to select the correct category when submitting their film to avoid disqualification.
The festival does not bear any financial responsibility for expenses incurred by participants, including travel, lodging, and miscellaneous costs. Participants must cover these costs themselves. However, the festival organizers may provide guidance if needed.
The organizers reserve the right to reassign films to the appropriate category if necessary.
Terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice and will be effective immediately. Participants are advised to review the rules regularly.
Submission of a film, short film, or documentary to the 23rd UFMC GOA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL-2026 implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
