Virgin Spring Cinefest is accepting Entries in all categories!

The Mission of our festival is to create a platform that every filmmaker needs, in order to showcase and get recognition for their films. The objective of the Film Festival is to support independent filmmakers showcase their talents and give recognition to them in front of the world's audience.

Virgin Spring Cinefest (VSC) is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Organization and an IMDb Award Listing Qualifier.

Films entered in multiple categories may win multiple awards!

The festival has been named in honor of Ingmar Bergman’s classic film "Virgin Spring" and it has been launched to showcase independent art-house films from around the world.

All projects officially selected in each month receive the Virgin Spring Cinefest laurel and certificate and are rated on their IMDb pages (if applicable). All monthly Award Winners also receive the Virgin Spring Cinefest laurel and customized certificate.

Each month, the representatives of the monthly award winners will be screened at the prestigious venue in Kolkata and reviewed by CULT CRITIC film magazine. These reviews are shared on each film's IMDb page (if applicable). Some filmmakers, screenwriters, and actors/actresses could be invited for an interview to be published as well in CULT CRITIC film magazine. Judges score the quality and creativity of entries on a performance scale and winning entries are recognized and awarded monthly at four levels:

Gold Awards,
Silver Awards,
Bronze Awards

Honorable Mentions.

All monthly winners will be automatically nominated for the prestigious GOLDEN GALAXY AWARDS.

What we’re looking for? Prolific art-house films, which can be in the form of narrative (fiction), documentary (non-fiction), or animation.
The films must include English subtitles (unless the spoken language is English).

By submitting your film, you agree that Virgin Spring Cinefest can use parts of your film (including trailer/teaser/film poster) for promotional purpose.

Virgin Spring Cinefest does not accept the following:

1. Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations
2. Films which are made before 2000
3. Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles/captions for non-English films, or video resolution less than 720p HD)

Genres accepted: Fiction, documentary, and animation.
Genre films are accepted.
