Niladri Sarker is a filmmaker, artist, author, and scientist whose works explore the intersection of memory, culture, and human resilience. Founder of TERAVARNA Art Gallery, he has exhibited and curated art worldwide. Drawing on a PhD in chemistry and travels to over 100 countries, Sarker crafts visually poetic films that blend personal truth with universal themes, challenging traditions while honoring emotional depth. His short films THE TRANSLATOR (Runner-Up & Nominee — Cannes World Film Festival) and ICE CREAM (Official Selections — Calcutta International Cult Film Festival & Tagore International Film Festival) have been recognized at international festivals for their contemplative storytelling.
